Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

Swindled out of Inheritance

A man put property(2 3-family buildings) in his wifes name. She died and it went to her children. They didn't know they owned property. He had them sign papers, they didn't know what they were signing and now he has the property again. On one of the signatures the lawyer wrote the middle initial. The daughter doesn't care that she lost the property, the brother does care. Is there anyway the property can be regained?

I would need to hear more facts on the case, but most likely if you signed a document based on false representations made, you may have a case based on the circumstances and time elapsed. You should contact an attorney immediately to discuss this matter further.

The facts sound a bit unusual. It would be helpful to know what documents were signed (was it a deed, transferring the property, was it an assent to the appointment of the husband as executor of a will), and how the property came to the children, and whether there is any relationship between the man and the children.

You should contact an attorney promptly and provide as much information as possible. Whether it can be reversed depends upon quite a few additional facts not provided in your question.
