tax liens

i am selling apiece of land that has a tax lien on it. does my proceeds from the sale go to paying of the lein or do i pay after the closing is done.

It will have to paid at closing, by the closing attorney.

The lien will be paid by the closing attorney and the amount of the lien will be deducted from the funds you are to receive.
