Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts
tenants in common dispute
My friend and I own a property as tenants in common. However, we have dispute in someway about property managment. I need a legal service for this dispute. Any suggestions and comments are welcome.

I am not clear on what the issue is?
You have two choices, either work out an agreement between the two of you, or sell the property. You can work out a deal either with or without an attorney. Or if you cannot agree and one of you does not want to sell, the other can file a Petition for Partition.

Please feel free to contact my office if you would like to attempt to work this disagreement out with the help of an attorney.
As tenants in common, you have certain rights and obligations with respect to the property and each other.
Re: tenants in common dispute
If all your efforts to work things out fail, you could retain an attorney to attempt to do so or ultimately file a Petition to Partition and ask the Court to resolve the issues or force a sale of the property and liquidate the equity to be divided between you. Good Luck!
