Not on Title
My boyfriend and I decided to get a house, however my credit is bad so im not on the title and nothing is in my name. we agreed he would pay the mortgage and I will pay utilies, he wants to put the utilites in my name. The downpayment came from my grandfather. How can I protect myself without causeing huge problems if anything happens and we split?

Re: Not on Title
Hi
I would request that a mortgage to your grand father in the amount he loaned be placed on the title on the house after it is purchased

Get a tight legally binding agreement, or else you will regret this for a long long time.
