A tree that borders my neighbor's and my property had some branches (large) fall on his property. Who is responsible for the removal?

Assuming you are in an urban area, it depends on why the branch fell. If it fell because of your negligence then you are responsible for removal. If it fell because of an act of nature the your neighbor must remove it. You can be negligent if you fail to prune or look for disease or rot. Acts of nature include storms and high wind.
