Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts
Two years ago I bought a joint owned property with my boyfriend. I have a child who lives in the home full time. He has children who live with their mom but visit. The relationship has gone South. There is a lot of manipulating, lying, gambling, and emotional abuse. I would ultimately like to sell the house as quickly as possible. But I feel as though he is playing games. He owes me money also. My kid is crying and uncomfortable near him as he ignores him as a result of our problems. Where do I start to get out of this nightmare?

You can file a petition to partition and force the sale of the property.
