Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Massachusetts

Advise on where to find case law pertaining to a suit I plan to file pro se

A 48 yr old married teacher had a sexual relationship with my 16 1/2 yr old son in a Massachusetts school. I plan to file pro se by April and am respectfully requesting help with how to obtain case law as well as exactly what laws I should include in my case. Cannot find an Atty to attempt this case. Apparently, a female teacher with a male student is not much of a case to most. However, the emotional damages my son and I have endured will most certainly be lifelong. Any and all advise with respect to how I can narrow down what laws to concentrate on would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. --name removed--

First of all, you're not going to be able to do that type of case pro se.

Second, you're not going to be able to find all the case law you need on the Web.

Third, your message says "MA NH" and the school

is in Mass, so I assume you reside in NH, which

means the case might be brought in federal court.

You can find the general laws for Mass. at http://www.state.ma.us/legis/laws/mgl/

I'm in Andover and am quite familiar with this area of law.

My phone number is 978-474-0833. Perhaps I'll be able to guide you more on the phone.

I also maintain a website with many forms: http://falseallegations.com

Would any reasonable person ask their dentist for information on how to fill their own cavity? No. Yet your question is not much different. While I sympathize with your inablity to secure counsel, there could be a very good reason why you can't: you do not have much of a case, or your chances or recovery are slim to none. You have undoubtedly heard that he who represents himself has a fool for a client. However, in my experience, people who do not listen to attorneys often live to regret it. Find yourself a qualified and experienced lawyer to handle what will certainly be a lengthy and painful lawsuit - or move on with your life.
