Legal Question in Social Security Law in Massachusetts
My ex roommate had given me a COPY (on standard white paper) of their social to give to the landlord which i lost (or they took and are attempting to frame me for). Does this constitute identity theft on my behalf?

No. Identity theft would involve you using the social security number to DO something (e.g. sign up for a credit card in your room-mate's name). Hoping that I do not offend you by saying so - your post indicates that you are both quite young. Consider whether you might both benefit from bringing this matter to an older person who can help you resolve any outstanding issues.
