ssdi
is it possible to have an attorney as my representative payee? if so, how much might it cost? ny present rep.payee and I are at war over an unrelated family matter.

You can ask Social Security to assign a new representative payee. There are services for such matters. I am not in the business, so I do not know how much they charge, but you likely can get information from Social Security on this. I suspect that they have regulations on how much can be charged.
