Legal Question in Social Security Law in Massachusetts

Ssdi

I have been disabled for 20 months and I am at the hearing in court process. This I heard could take up to 15 months. I have managed to hold on to my home and family without going broke until now. I can not make it until the hearing without losing everything. I dont want to lose my home and family and my question is , Is there anyway that funding if some sort can become available until I win this in court ?? Or does the Government that I have paid over 1 million in taxes to, Just ruin my life for good??

If you win your claim, you will receive past-due benefits. However, the government is not mandated to determine that you are disabled unless you meet a regulatory standard (e.g., a "listed impairment"). The Federal government is of the opinion that it does not owe benefits to every claimant.

If matters are this bad, you may want to seek assistance from a bankruptcy attorney.
