2011 massachusetts inheritance tax law on cash in excess of 150,000 dollars

I'm not sure what your question is. Massachusetts does not have an inheritance tax. However, there may be tax on income which is passed from the estate to the heir, for which you would receive an IRS Form K-1 that would be included with your tax return. You should speak with a probate attorney or CPA to review the inheritance and determine whether it includes taxable income.
