Legal Question in Tax Law in Massachusetts
I relocated from AZ to Mass. in June 09. I was getting federal taxes taken out in Az, but realized that my company, that I work for full time, has not taken any federal taxes from june 09 - december 31, 09. Is that legal? I understand that as an employee, it is my reponsibility to understand my paystub. But can they not take out federal taxes? All my paperwork transferred from Az to Mass. and I did not fill out an additional W-4...

If you are an employee, they were supposed to withhold your state and federal income taxes. Unless you qualify as not requiring any money to be withheld, they should have withheld income taxes for you.
I suggest you speak with the company ASAP. They are not responsible to pay the tax for you itself, but if you owe interest or penalties for underpaying your taxes, those should be paid by the employer due to its negligence.
