Legal Question in Traffic Law in Massachusetts
car accident two years ago
december 06 I was in a car accident. Yesterday a sheriff gave my sister a summons, for me, saying that I am being sued for $22,000. I had full coverage insurance. THe summons was not given to me, so is it still legal? And this man is sueing me over two years later, when he walked away from the accident fine. What should I do?

Bring the summons to the attention of your insurance company as they are obligated to get counsel to defend you on this.
If they decline for some reason, retain an attorney. Good Luck!
