Legal Question in Traffic Law in Massachusetts

my car is at a compound

My car is at a compund. I am being told that it will not be released to me.12:am Sunday morning I was coming from workwhen imy car got a flat tire, there are no street lights and no houses around, it's country with no cell phone service in my area. I walked home it took me 3hrs to get home.My guess is that the town cop saw a car sitting on the side of the road and got it towed. Now its monday morning and called the towing service that picked up my car and told me that theey cannot release my car to me.Why not?

Unless there was contraband found in the car, I suspect you must deal with the police who probably intend to cite you for abandoning the car on the highway without notifying them. Retain an attorney. Good Luck!
