Legal Question in Traffic Law in Massachusetts

I want to know how a judge can find me guilty for a 55 in a 40 the ticket was wrote wrong it was speeding in special regulations which there is a construction zone right after where I was but I wasn't in the construction zone when it happened the first thing the judge says is this ticket says special regulation but this is just regular speeding correct? The officer responded he made a mistake and it's just speeding. and I asked the cop if he ever recalibrated his lidar unit and he said he didn't and if you don't recalibrate it every time lidar units are known to give faulty readings in my case it was reading 9 mph faster than I was going but my big problem is how can a judge find me guilty for a charge I did not commit? Speeding and speeding in special regulations is completly different and that's on my permanent record. What should I do?

If you were found responsible after a Clerk-Magistrate hearing, you have the right to appeal to a judge. If you were actually found responsible by both a Clerk-Magistrate and a judge, then your only recourse is to appeal the responsible finding , on a questions of law, to the Appellate Division of the District Court.
