Moter vehical violations

I got booked a day ago and from what I know when I go to cort on Monday I am gonna ask the judge for a 30 day extention to get a lawyer. I got tickets for driveing on an expiered licence, no insurance and a non registered car. Problem is I didnt know my licence was expiered seen as how I paid the $40 fee at DMV and they sent me one in the mail. I failed to look at the date and figured it was renewed for 5 years the reason it wasn't was because I owe excize tax hence the rest of the problems that followed. I am gonna take the 30 days if granted and take care of the tax, renew my licence get re-insured & registered and when I go back I am gonna ask if it can be continued without a finding. This was recomended to me from a lawyer over the phone due to not being able to afford an attorney. I am a dissabled vet supporting a wife and 2 children on $836 per month with a part time job. Please, if someone can guid me a bit more it would be helpfull

The earlier advice you received was fairly good. I would think that, if you have no previous record of these types of crimes, then you will be able to get a dismissal instead of a CWOF. Good luck and thank you for your service to our country.
