Legal Question in Traffic Law in Massachusetts
i was recently summoned to court being cited for:
person under 21 possess liquor C138 S34C
the alcohol was never in my car (it sat at my 21 year old friends feet) when the undercover policemen approached me. they never asked for a registration, or gave me a citation at the scene and I received the summons in the mail like i was told i would. Is there any way out of this? i was thinking of arguing that i never had possession of the alcohol.
