Administrator for aunt who recently passed on

My aunt died in Sept. of '99. Since I was fairly close to her, and kept in touch with her as much as I could, she called me last summer and told me that another cousin who has a summer home nearby and looked in on her had come to her and told her he wrote her will. My aunt said that she contacted that lawyer and told him that she did not want him to change the will, and the lawyer told her that this cousin left her home to himself. Now that my aunt has gone, there are 3 lawyers contesting her will. One of the lawyers told me that they believe my cousin changed my aunt's will. In addition, he has cleaned out her house and there are money and items missing. My sister was left off the will and another cousin. Do I need an attorney to protect my interest? Can my sister fight for her share of the will?

1. Do you need an attorney to protect your interest? Probably, where there are three other attorneys involved, especially, I'm sorry to say: they don't look out for your interest, they look out for their clients' interests most, and it's a zero-sum game, every dollar you get is one less available for their clients.

2. Your sister can and probably should fight for her share of the will.

What did the prior will say that was different?

Did she sign the latest will in front of witnesses even though she complained to you about it? That part is unanswered and wierd.
