The question is a little vague. If the account in question has a beneficiary, then usually the funds will go to the beneficiary without passing through probate. If there are more probate assets, you should consider consulting with a probate attorney to assist you with the estate administration.

I agree that the question is a little confusing.

There is so much missing information, and the details are extremely important. Please give me a call if you would like some assistance or would like to schedule a consultation and documents review. I'd be happy to meet with you!

+ What does "second beneficiary 4 months ago" mean?

+ Is the owner of the account dead or alive?

+ In what order have the individuals in question passed away?

+ Who is the "first person" who died? First beneficiary? Owner of the account?

+ Did the owner of the account have a will?

+ What type of account is this? Were the beneficiaries named on the account, or named in the will?
