Cemetery Plot

Hi...my name is currently on the deed for the family cemetery plot. Will this property automatically be included as part of my assets when willed to my beneficiary or do I need to specifically state the name of the person that the ownership would be transferred to? BTW, the individual to whom I would designate IS the beneficiary of my estate. Thanks...Donna

I would have to review your will and estate plan in order to determine exactly how and to whom your property will pass.

But assuming that you leave all your real and personal property to a certain person, then any deed to real estate would be included in that.
