Conservative of a will

I have been asked to be a conservative of a will for a friend, regarding her elderly father who resides in a nursing home. The friend is terminally ill and of sound mind. What is a ''conservative'' of a will?

If what you mean is a "conservator" it is a fididuciary like a "guardian" only not responsible for the physical well being, but only the finacial affairs of the ward for which you must file a bond and make annual accountings through the Probate Court.
