Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

conservator switch

My boyfriends parents are his conservators.We would like to get married, but they say that we will have to ask them for every penny we need to survive.I would think that either he should be able to be in control of his own spending or I would be his conservator after we were married. Do you have any suggestions?

You need to check the terms of the conservatorship. These orders and pleadings are ususally in the probate court where the conservators reside.
