What are the responsibilities of the custodial parent to the children.

The obligations of a custodial parent are essentially the same as that as a regular parent. However, depending upon the limits on the custodial parents rights as set by agreement or court order, you may have to consult with non-custodial parent to do certain things like move a certain distance etc.

However, if you are asking what are the obligations of a guardian that is a little different. You function very similarly to a parent and you are resposible to see that the chhild is properly housed feed et cetera. If you are also conservator of their estate you are responsible for the use of any money held in thier name or for any monies paid to you for their care.
