Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

I am not on deed to the house yet.

My husband & I just got married the end of March. He just became gravely Ill. He has not had a chance to put me on the deed to the house. He has a daughter and I have 2 children all grown. Will I get the house if something happens to him.

Dying without a will puts the property distribution under state law. It is very simple to draft a deed granting you a share of the property. If he agrees this can be done by essentially looking at an old deed, and then essentially adding your name. It requires his signature, and he must be competent to sign.
