How do I demand an accounting of what the executor has done and receive disbursement?

Assuming it is at least a year since the appointment of the Executor, you file a Petition for an accounting. If there are unresolved claims against the estate, the Executor has the right to wait until the claims are resolved to make a disbursement.

I suggest you contact an attorney for assistance.
