Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

How can I determine if my brother who recently passed away had a will in Massachusetts? He was never married, has no children and no property.

if he had a will and filed it with the probate court then it would be in there-however most don't file them and just hold them so it may be among his personal belongings? If he had no children and no property then there would be nothing to leave? I assume that he may have had some form of funds in accounts? Contact the office and we can speak more about it. 774-745-0562

You would contact the Probate Court in the County where he resided. If no Will has been filed you can file a Petition to Administrate his estate and seek to appoint yourself as Personal Representative.
