Re: Estate

First, my condolences on the loss of your mother.

The law requires the Will to be filed within 30 days of death of the deceased in the County in which your mother last resided. However, there is no penalty for taking longer.

Once filed the with Probate Court for the County your mother resided; you can obtain a copy from the Probate Court. You should also be notified to consent to the appointment of the Executor.

If you are concerned that you have been unfairly disinherited or something else similar to that, you should contact an attorney to assit you in protecting your interests.

If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact me.
