Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts
Executrix's handling of sale house
Parent passed 1 1/2 years ago, house is paid off, will leaves everything equally to 7 children, eldest daughter is executrix. She changed locks, house is finally on market, 2 other siblings reside in it - only cover expenses. Executrix refuses communication to 2 other siblings she no longer speaks to because they have questioned her handling of affairs. Does she have to supply copies of appraisals, and anything else concerning estate to all? Should deed be changed over and who should it be deeded to? She also didn't include other 2 in disbursing personal belongings and denies doing it yet. She filled a big dumpster at the house without their knowledge and fied a fale inventory at court. House is under $300,000. We don't have the money to hire an attorney to fight her on this.

You can file a complaint with the Probate Court as to her administration of the estate. You can talk to one of the Probate clerks who may be able to assist you with the correct forms to file.
Good luck.

I am sorry for your loss.
If you can't get the information you seek from the Probate Records or from the executrix, the attorney for the estate or the other heirs, consider jointly retaining an attorney with your other dissatisfied sibling(s) to file a complaint against the estate for mismanagement. Good Luck.
