Re: Grandparents Estate

First, please accept my condolences on the death of your grandparents.

Second, write a respectful letter to your uncle who was the executor and request that he, or the attorney that probated the estate(s), send you a copy of the Will(s)and the Inventory and Accountings filed in the estate(s).

Should he decline to do so you can contact the Probate Court for the County in which they resided at the time of their death(s) and request they send you these document, or you can retain a Massachusetts attorney to obtain this information. Good Luck!

Re: Grandparents Estate

The first step is to write a polite letter to your uncle asking for a copy of the will and an inventory of the estate's assets. If he will not send it to you, contact the Probate Court for the county where your grandfather lived and ask them to send you a copy of the file.

Please feel free to contact me if I can be of assistance.
