Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

My house was put into a Life Estate (or so I was told). All I have is a Quitclaim Deed naming my 2 sons as grantees. Am I protected from Medicaid if I have to enter a nursing home sometime in the future?

Not completely. I suggest you contact an attorney to determine the current level of protection you have. You might consider a Qualified Personal Residence Trust, which if you do not need to go into a nursing home for 5 years will completely protect the home from claims.
