If a house has been put in trust from grandparents to parents for life, then to the grandchild, may the parents sell the house during their lifetime?

Need more information here to be sure, but in general, if the parents are granted the house for life - then they have a life estate and cannot sell the house outright because the grandchild has a future interest in the house.
Without reading the trust it is difficult to know, but it is probable, but the funds would have to be retained in the Trust subject to any other provisions.
I suggest you take the Trust to an Attorney to review and he should be able to tell you what you can or cannot due.

I agree with the other attorney. A lawyer needs detail as to the trust and what authority was granted the trustee and what benefit runs to the grandchild
with little detail it is impossible to issue a decision on an issue this important
