Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

inheritance

When my father died he owned 3 properties. One was the matrimonial home. The other 2 were investment properties. The deed lists both my mother and father with no note on "right of survivorship". I understand the matrimonial home goes directly to my mother. what about the other 2 investment properties. Am I entitled to any part that was my fathers. Thank you.

Re: inheritance

If the deeds have both names on it then it automatically passes to the other person. Although it does not state right of survivorship, when you are dealing with a husband and wife it is assumed tenancy by the entireties and passes to the surviving spouse.
