life insurance
my father just passed away last week, how do i find out if he has a life insurance policy , my sister has power of attorney or how will i know if my name is on the insurance policy. i don't talk to my sister or brother so i was wondering if i could find out this information on the computer

There is no central place to look to see if your father had life insurance. If you are a named beneficiary on the policy at the time of death you will be paid. The insurance company will probably want a copy of the death certificate prior to paying on the policy.
