Frequently there are slight differences between states that can become issues. Your Will and Trust may not need anything done to them and then again, they may need to be changed.

A good estate attorney can review the documents and determine if they should be revised for a nominal fee. However, if the documents are more than 5 years old, they should be reviewed regardless to make sure everything will work as intended.

In general wills and trusts are meant to be valid in any state, but it would be a good idea to have an attorney in your new state review your documents just to make sure they will be able to be used if and when you need them.

You didn't mention if you have a health care proxy drawn up. If you don't, you should have one of those drafted to make sure there is someone appointed to make your health care decisions for you if you are unable.
