Can someone clarify this for me?this is from my mothers will. and will shorten it due to this limited characters. I made no provisions for my son. However in the event that my husband dies b4 or after my death w/in 30 days, the house will be for sam. Trust will be handled by his stepsister. He can choose to live or if not, then stepsis will rent the premises and hold proceeds in trust for Sam, The interest from trust shall be paid to sam on a monthly basis. Everything else is to be split equally with his two stepsis. Other disbursements are to be made at discretion of Trustee for sams med expense, edu, and living exp.

Now since i left the military my stepdad has been an Ahole to me. He got remarried. He has boasted he can buy a brand new car to me and just a recent phone convo , he was surprised that i found the will. He also stated that in probate which wasn't on my moms will was that the stocks she had was his when in fact it was join Btween him and i. The probate letter said I was to be notified and wasn't. And that I am very curious on how he is acting towards me and his intentions. He said that he regrets sending 40k to the philippines and that frusterated me. Can anybody help me please?

I agree with Atty Lebensbaum. You need to go over the facts of this case with an experienced probate attorney. You should have received some type of notice of the probate, and of the closing of any account that was held jointly with you. There is a special notice process for heirs that are serving in the military.

You don't say when your mom passed, but you do state that your stepdad has remarried. Therefore this is something that should be addresed sooner rather than later.

Please let me know if this office can help you. We have an offie in Raynham.
