mothers home

my mother was in anursing home in Mass. and we had to get Mass. Health assistance.They put a lien on her home to cover their expense.She passed away on Dec.27 2007. Does this lien accue interest? as we have not decided what to do with her home

The Mass Health Lien does accrue interest.
