Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

Parent's Will

Our parents who lived in Connecticut for many years had their will drawn up there. They have recently moved to Massachussetts to live with another sibling. Is their CT. will still valid or does a new one have to drawn up according to Massachussetts law?

Re: Parent's Will

It's probably still valid. But if you want to be on the safe side, have an attorney review it. If you have any other questions, contact me.

Re: Parent's Will

If you haven't already, you need to post the question for a Massachusetts attorney.

General advise would be to have a Massachusetts attorney look at the will.

Re: Parent's Will

It is probably still valid. However, I would have it reviewed by a Mass Attorney to be safe. If their circumstances have changed, such as they owned a home, but no longer own a home, if they made specific bequests, that are no longer applicable, then they might want a new Will.

Please feel free to contact me if you or they have more questions.
