Remarried father died without will

I just learned of my fathers death. He died a few months back. There was no will filed in probate. He remarried a few years ago. How would I find out if he had any assets, and would I be entitled to anything?

If you probate your father's estate, you will have an administrator appointed by the court who will investigate your father's assets.
