I want to resign as Executrix of my sister's estate for personal reasons. My nephew is the alternate Executor in my sister's will. What process has to be taken.

You need to prepare a file a Resignation of Fiduciary Form and a Petition to appoint a new fiduciary, preferably with consents of interested parties. Go to the Probate Court and as the clerk for the forms or contact an attorney for assistance.
