Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

Right to view my grandmother's will if she is still alive?

Do I have the right to simply view my grandmother's will if Im an inheritor? She is alive but has Alzheimers so I can not ask her.

I am 34 and her only granddaughter...She showed me part of her will 10 years ago and it stated that I will receive $50,000 when I turned 30-however, my uncle is in control of my grandmother now (as she has Alzheimer's and her mind is not coherent) I would simply like to reread the part of her will that pertains to me but my uncle is not allowing me to see it...do I have any legal right to simply view her will while she is still living?

thank you very much

No, you have no right to view your grandmother's will. A will is a private document and has no legal effect until the death of the testator.

No. Unless you have a power of attorney.
