Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts
will
I am divorced from my second husband. I was divorced from my first husband and he has since died. My first husband was the father of my adult children. Which form do I use for a will, divorced or widowed?

Re: will
As to how you would describe your marital status, you are divorced. As to estate planning, I cannot recommend that you use any "form" will. Like anyone, you have unique circumstances which you should discuss with an attorney.
Re: will
Echoing the other answer already posted, prospective beneficiaries may better appreciate the expression "pennywise and pound foolish" if they have to deal with the aftermath of "form" estate planning documents.
This is really an area where it merits spending a little money to get things done correctly, and you may find that it helps not just your heirs, but that you are better prepared to deal with other situations while you are alive, including temporary incapacity or situations where you might need someone to act upon your behalf.
Spend a little more money and have things done right.
Re: will
It is respectfully suggested that you retain an attorney who will know how to best draft your will to accomplish your unique wishes rather than trying to use a Will "form" that may or may not accurately express your wishes. Good Luck!
