Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

Will Timeline

I had an uncle die in March of 2000 and an Aunt has told me that I was named in the will. I have yet to receive any notification on being named an heir, as well as any other relatives that I have talked to that are supposed to be in this will. My question is, what is the timeline for probating a will in the state of Massachusetts; notification of inheratance, is there deadline in how long a will has to be settled, I believe in Pennsylvania it is one year. Is this normal to hear no news at all. I appreciate any help you can give me on this matter.

A will is suppose to be probated within thirty days after death in Massachusetts.
