Legal Question in Workers Comp in Massachusetts
I was called to a meeting at work. When I got to the meeting and walked into the office I was told to take a seat by my boss. When I sat the chair broke (the back of chair broke off and the 2 back wheels broke) injuring my lower back and groin area. I was helped up and given another chair. I was then fired for an unrelated issue. Am I elegible for workers comp. Should the meeting have ended when the chair broke. I have since seen an Orthopedic doctor, been through 6 weeks of physical theropy, Had pain injection shot in spine, been taking percoset since accident, and now have been seeing a chiropractor for over 3 months.
