Legal Question in Workers Comp in Massachusetts

Time Off

I was recently injured at work... i was told by the ER not to return to work for at least 7 days ... or until the stitches were removed from my hand. Im told by the company insurance company that the comp is only paid out if im out for more than five(5)days. In those 7 days i was technically scheduled for 4. Does the comp go by business days or days i would have worked?
