Legal Question in Consumer Law in Mexico

If a lube and Oil company installed my oil filter wrong which in turn caused all the oil to drain out of the engine. The engine is shot it's a brand new 2010 car. What remedy do i have???

Most consumer related disputes are solved through a Federal authority called Procuraduria Federal del Consumidor. Go to their website (profeco.gov.mx) and fill and print their standard form. This form can be mailed. This procedure does not preclude your right to file a lawsuit, however, for this you will need an attorney and spend more money and the outcome depends very much on a successful asset search on the defendant.
