Legal Question in Family Law in Mexico

married in mexico

I am a US citizen and he is from Mexico and we got married in Mexico. I no longer live down there, do you know how I can file for a divorce.

You can file for divorce in CA if you have lived here for at least 6 months.

Filing for a Divorce is faster if you do it directly in Mexico, since you will avoid legal requirements, legalizations of documents etc. Does he want to grant the divorce? Do you have children? How long ago you are seperated? When did you get married?
