Legal Question in Immigration Law in Mexico

I am a 34 year old US born citizen who was at-birth adopted by his Mexican born father. My birth certificate shows him to be my father. Am I able to claim dual citizenship for the US and Mexico? What does this afford me and restrict me to do? How do I go about stating the process? My interest is possibly owning a restricted zone beach front home or a near beach home.

.

If you have the 2 papers (birth certificate and adoption certiicate) or if you have proofs of your born in the US and your mexican certificate, yes, you can get dual nationality.

You can get help going to Mexican Consulate and explaining your case. Contact: www.sre.gob.mx/eua
