how do i go about getting my daughters father here from mexico legally

If you make an appointment and provide more details we can discuss the options. There is no easy way to bring someone to the U.S. from Mexico unless he only wants to visit for a short time and not work here.

Depending on specific case. You may sponsor the visit and/or later, the green card.
Is possible start with visa (tourist or fiance) and later request for a Green Card.
