Legal Question in Immigration Law in Mexico
O1 visa seeking green card
I am a Mexican national. I lived in the US for seven years, first as a J1 status from 2000 to 2004, then, as an O1 visa holder which will expire on October 30, 2008. I am currently living in Mexico to fullfill the two year requirement on the J1 status. I want to apply for a Green Card now that I almost complete the two year requirement in my home country, but need help as I don't now where to start. I have the feeling that I need to start before my O1 status ends.
