Legal Question in Immigration Law in Mexico
Visa for marriage
The man I am going to marry is in Mexico. He is married and is in the process of getting a divorce. Do we have to wait until he is divorced for him to come to the United States. If not, are there ways I can help him come to U.S. besides a fiance' visa. I know he has to be eligble for marriage for this.

Re: Visa for marriage
If you both intend to marry in good faith and then have him immigrate to the US as your immedaite relative, then he has to be legally divorced prior to your filing a finace petition or before the two of you marry. If not, it may be seen as bigamy.
